Through my Educare journey, I’ve built a strong professional foundation in early childhood development by balancing rigorous academic theory with real-world classroom experience. During my N4, N5, and N6 certificate studies, I mastered the essentials of child psychology, day-care management, child health, and didactics, which gave me the tools to design structured, age-appropriate lesson plans. I then put this theory into practice through an intensive 18-month workplace placement in a preschool environment, where I took on the responsibilities of a lead teacher—managing daily classroom routines, organizing activities, and carefully tracking student developmental milestones. This combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on logbook experience has fully shaped my professional skill set, equipping me to confidently lead classrooms and effectively support the growth of young children.
