My Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) was completed with a specialization in Commerce Education, which prepared me to teach commerce-related subjects such as Accounting and Business Studies. The programme provided me with both theoretical knowledge and practical teaching skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, learner assessment, and effective teaching strategies for commerce subjects. Through teaching practice and coursework, I developed the ability to explain complex accounting concepts clearly, facilitate student understanding, and support learners in developing analytical and problem-solving skills relevant to the business and financial environment.
