Good day,

My name is Gordon Kemp. In 1990 I started my illustrious teaching career at Rufane Donkin Primary School under the influential leadership of Mr. Benson. My quests to become a master teacher and to experience different teaching styles lead me to apply for a teaching post in the United States of America.

My areas of expertise, qualification and experience are Afrikaans, English, Economic Management Sciences, Social Studies and Natural Science at primary school level. I have rather extensive experience and expertise in teaching Afrikaans as a First Additional Language as well as Economic Management Sciences.

I feel I have much to offer in terms of staff development and positive reinforcement during a time when teachers’ morale is generally low. I would be thrilled if I am to be allowed an opportunity to share my all inspiring leadership and my innovative teaching style with my new students, parents and colleagues.

Having taught for over 3 decades in 3 different continents to students of diverse backgrounds, I am ready for my new assignment and a new challenge. Being retired at 60, one cannot remain stagnant in one’s life, and mine is no different. I need to explore more, see more and do more.
