My Bachelor of Education in Counselling has equipped me with both strong teaching abilities and counselling skills that allow me to support learners academically and emotionally. Through this degree, I gained knowledge in educational psychology, classroom management, learner development, guidance and counselling, and effective communication. It has helped me understand the different challenges learners face and how to create a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environment where every learner feels valued and motivated to succeed. Strengthened my ability to listen, guide, and mentor learners while maintaining professionalism and compassion. As a teacher and counsellor, I am passionate about helping learners grow not only academically but also personally and emotionally. This qualification has prepared me to work well with learners, parents, and colleagues and to contribute positively to the overall wellbeing and success of the school community.
