Thobile Mbalenhle Shozi

I hold an ECD Level 5 qualification as well as an Education and Development Level 4 certificate. I am currently furthering my studies through part-time distance learning towards a Diploma in Education, which reflects my commitment to continuous professional growth and excellence in early childhood development.

I have three years of experience working in ECD centres, where I developed strong skills in classroom management, lesson planning, and creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for young learners. My experience has equipped me with the ability to support children’s cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development in line with the curriculum requirements.

In addition, I worked for six months at Nqobane Primary School as an assistant teacher. During this time, I supported the lead teacher with daily classroom activities, preparation of learning materials, supervision of learners, and maintaining positive communication with parents and staff. This experience strengthened my teamwork skills and enhanced my understanding of the primary school environment.

I am passionate about working with young children and believe that the foundation phase is crucial in shaping confident and capable learners. I am dedicated, patient, creative, and committed to contributing positively to your school community.
